Wau, Warrab State, Southern Sudan.\n3000 people live in the IDP's camp (Internal displaced People) located outside of Wau city. They all left Abyei region because of the heavy fightings between the SAF (Sudan Armed Forces) and the SPLA (Sudan's People Liberation Army). Most of them walked to Turalei and Akon then have been sent by truck to this camp. Duok, 8, comes from Abyei and arrived here with his aunt and his older brother. They had to leave their home during the night and the mother died a few hours later due to an explosion of a SAF's (Sudan Armed Forces) bomb. The father stayed in Abyei to watch their home and belongings. They have no news from him since they left a few weeks ago.
